Although Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is not based out of Nashville, it has been a staple to my experience in Nashville. Before I moved to Nashville for college, my family and I went to Jeni’s and I fell in love with their Milkiest Chocolate flavor. I try to stay away from ice cream as much as I can, but when I’m near a Jeni’s location, I just can’t help myself.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream has some unique flavors you can’t find anywhere else, including Sun-Popped Corn, Atlantic Beach Pie, Watermelon Taffy, Wildberry Lavender, and Lemon Bar. They always carry their basics but bring out new flavors on a seasonal basis. Like I mentioned before, my favorite flavor is Milkiest Chocolate, but I have been known to buy Brown Butter Almond Brittle, Gooey Butter Cake, Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks, and Texas Sheet Cake.
Another perk of getting Jeni’s is their freshly made Buttercrisp Waffle Cones. I always get a Waffle Cone, but there are other options for ordering including in a sugar cone, in a bowl, or a whole pint.

Jeni’s also sells cookbooks, T-shirts, tester spoons, an Ice Cream Scoop, pins, etc.

In Nashville, you can find multiple Jeni’s locations, including 12 South, East Nashville, Hillsboro Village, and the Nashville Farmers’ Market as well as locations in Brentwood and Franklin. You can find the full list of Jeni’s Locations HERE and if there isn’t one near you, you can order it to be delivered to your front door.
